Research Topic

I plan on doing my research paper on the promise of Artificial Intelligence and/or robots vs. the dangers/ problems for loss of labor, etc. Robots are built to exceed human abilities. The threat of Robots being picked over humans will leave us out of work because companies will pick something more reliable as in the robots. It would make humans lose ambition in a career that they are focused on to lose it to a robot. The job economy is built for humans and that is we are able to live a stable life. I understand that robots and Artificial Intelligence are able to be more accurate with development of medicine and other leading problems but where is that going to leave the people whose ambition is to study medicine and who are currently in the field? I want to make an argument for the effects of robots overtaking jobs in this current economy.

In the movie IRobot will smith plays a cop trying to exterminate the robots that tried to take over the world. The movie definitely shows science. The robots that played in the movie were servants to people they were assigned too. The robots was controlled by one huge mother board who had a mind of her own. The robots were designed to make life easy for humans. The robots had characteristics like talking, expressed emotion, and incredible strength.
I Robot gives us the idea of how things would look in the future if this was to occur. They also showed the car that controls itself which was an audi. All was needed was a spoken location and it will drive straight there. The houses was also equipped with features that you spoken to and it perform the task.
This movie shows potential of what can become if robots play a part in our daily lives. IRobot showed the positive and negative reactions. It is a scary thought to see robots trying to take over the world because their built with capabilities that are stronger than natural humans. I feel threatened by the way things can turn out if robots could take over. This movie would attract an audience because people are too anxious know what the future will hold for us.

Hi, I'm Ronnie Stafford and I'm studying Liberal Arts: humanities & social sciences. I've been accepted to John Jay, In Fall '11 I will be attending there to study criminology. My current goal is to get into the law enforcement field.  I'm more I lean more to the science/technology field. I like to see science and new technology being develop. Science gives me a better understanding for things because scientist use facts to prove whats right and wrong. Technology fascinates me the most, I like having the latest electronic out. I play alot of video games, the graphics and new ways of playing with sensor motions is mind blowing. I remember when everything was wired, now everything is becoming wireless for video games.  Technology/science is good for the world because we are given clear understanding to information gathered. I also believe technology will be the way of the future because things will become more easier for us to live. Technology will always become more advance than what it is to amaze us at what can be done.
